An arrow was never meant to be forever on the string
But it was made to sail the sky and hit the target’s ring
As battles rage and evil shouts, let the arrow fly
It was made for such a day as this to join the battle cry

The shaft is straight the point is sharp, it was not made for show
It was made for chase and war, let loose from warrior’s bow
I would to God He use me, and aim me toward the sky
I would that God would choose me, or only let me die

I would not be forever still, and forgotten in the dark
But ask that God would use me to hit His chosen mark.
